They’ve got a ground floor, four floors above it and one below — six floors in total. However, men’s section takes only one floor. No, less than that because a chunk of it is taken by the kids’ section. Even though I go to this H&M every time I’m out shopping in Oxford Street, I haven’t managed to find anything there for some time now. I wish they took a lesson from the nearby Topshop and stated taking men’s clothing seriously.

Why haven’t I reviewed H & M’s wonderful flagship store yet? Here you don’t feel like you are in a crappy cheap shop. It’s more top shop than primark– you know what I mean? Downstairs we start with this month’s theme shop and move onto more«mature/grown up» ware. Upstairs is where«Divide» lives and you can get you funky 16 turning 30 stuff there. Bottom is work, «bigger sizes» and kiddos. Best of all, amazing commendation to this black dude who works there and help you edit your basket on check out. He stopped me from buying a £30 orange angora skirt, saying it will be ruined after one wash– and how did he ever know that I am the kinda girl who would spill anything and everything on inappropriate unwashable clothing? And this is THE place to be for the designer collection launches– coz they get the biggest, massivest drops. Oy vey, this is turning into a mushy love story.

Oh! NO… Another H&M. But this is called H&M-Hennes. Doesn’t it sound a lot classier? Although it’s not as big as the other stores. The selections here, were dressed appropriate for my age. Not too conservative nor too funky. I just want to look good enough without screaming for attention. This store geared towards people who is into modern approach yet sophisticated. Choices can be limited. Happy shopping!

I like this H&M, or should I say Hennes, because they stock some of the more sophisticated items, and I think I have really outgrown the H&M young fashion style– it has become very gimicky of late, far too many tacky and bright items trying to copy all the crap fads which have been emerging over the past couple of years… for example new rave. urgh. Hennes has lovely silky dresses, big comfy jumpers and nice dark washed jeans. Also, I can’t get over the winter items– the huge wooly hats and scarves which are so inexpensive yet so good for the body and for the system I love it. The jewellry too is really good for a quick fox or an emergency. This store is generally quieter than the bog flagship one, with less annoying young girls purchasing all of the tack.
