This Indian Tapas and Tiffin place looks really intriguing from the outside and I was excited to try it. However, once inside the atmosphere felt stiff and awkward, everything shiny and trying to look fancy. Worse, I’ve never had a blander curry ever before. Not even as in, ‘not spicy enough’ (although my Mumbai Subzi had 2 chilli pictures next to it, implying some spice), the problem was it tasted almost flavourless to me. The rice was ok and the bread was nice and the service was lovely. Our waitress seemed inexperienced/​new but really really sweet and polite and nice. My partner quite enjoyed his curry so perhaps I just made a very bad choice! I don’t think I’ll be returning to double check though!
