Best for good food, good environment, good personnel, everything from breakfast to soups, fish, everything is awesome. Professionals welcomed, no funny smells everything clean and tidy. Bad: they shut around 19:00, sometimes I arrive later but other than that

I think this place is Awesome. I’ve been to Hollywood and think this place would fit right in! There are lot’s of little greasy spoons and café’s on Holloway Road but what makes this one different is the interior! Lot’s of film posters, fancy fairy lights and lovely picture frames etc. The food is great too. I had Lasagna with chips and salad for £5 and it was lovely! So filling!

The coffee is horrible, but the staff is somewhat decent and they have free wifi access. I guess that’s the only thing which is relevant to say about this place. I wouldn’t really recommend it for anybody eating or drinking here, but if you just a need a place to take a break or check your emails, its a perfectly decent place. Try to avoid the coffee. It is far too sour and bitter, probably because the coffee machine hasn’t been serviced for a while.

I’m a soup fan and got quite excited by the selection on the menu, although I was a little disappointed to find out that they cost £3 a bowl and came out a can. That’s not very Hollywood at all!
What is Hollywood though, is the selection of terrible and yet still amazing film posters framed and hung from the walls with pride. The obviously got to Athena before it went bust and got a bulk load of them. Still they served painfully average Illy coffee which ticked my box but mainly because it had caffeine in it. It’s cheap cheerful and a greasy spoon which is masquerading as something a little classy. Don’t be fooled, love it for what it is, a caff in Holloway not Hollywood!

A scot, a northern irish guy and girl, an irish girl, and an american girl walk into a café… sounds like a joke, but it was the actually situation when I first had brekkie at Hollywood’s Café.
Nothing spectacular about this place, but the food is delicious, nice, friendly owners. And fatty fry ups are definitely the cure for an alcohol-​induced, binge-​drinking weekend in London.

I was surprised to find another really welcoming café in the proximity of LondonMet North Campus. The name of the place shows you the way inside where movie posters and interesting pictures decorate the walls. Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Die Hard, picture of what seems to be New York Gets you into the daydreaming state of mind.
The menu is tasty, varied, affordable –breakfast, soups, pasta, burgers, grills & main meals, sandwiches, desserts and if you’d like to get yourself even more into the spirit of the place try the Hollywood’s Special Salad. Gets quite busy at lunchtime.
