iona Bramati Castellarin BSc (Hons) Ost. Med. DO, ND

After graduating from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London, Ioná attended numerous post-graduate courses in cranial osteopathy and structural osteopathy. She has worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children and used to be on call at St John and St Elizabeth’s Birth Unit, treating newborn babies and mothers post-labour.

Ioná uses cranial, structural and visceral osteopathic techniques in a holistic manner, aiming to re-establish good health. These techniques are safe to be used in all age groups.

Having created a good network with consultants, radiological centres and laboratories, Ioná can refer patients on without delay if necessary. As she believes that it is important for her patients to learn how to maintain the changes achieved with osteopathic treatment she also recommends Pilates teachers and personal trainers who can complement her work.

At present Ioná is finalizing a PhD research project.
