Our restoration service will bring your pictures back to their original beauty without detracting or taking away the artist’s original work or intention. Il Restauro can also offer a large range of fine art and furniture.

Il Restauro’s expertise has been used by famous art auction houses. Specialist contract work has been undertaken for the church in Italy. We can restore oil paintings and antique painted furniture amongst other services. We offer a complete frame restoration service.

Meet the Business Owner

Rosaria T.

Business Owner

Il Restauro was established by Rosaria Trivellini who was born in Italy and has lived in England for many years. She is an accomplished and appraised conservator/​restorer hailing from a family tradition passed through generations. From a very young age Rosaria was trained by skilled master craftsmen at some of the oldest and well established restoration workshops in Le Marche region of Italy.

Rosaria brings a wealth of experience from traditional apprenticeship and manual dexterity coupled with her extensive knowledge of the History of Art.

For over 20 years Rosaria has worked at several studios in London and is now based in South London maintaining a selected and prestigious clientele of private costumers, renowned auction houses and art galleries.

Rosaria has pursued a Master of Arts degree in Conservation of Decorative Surfaces at Sir John Cass department of Arts and Design at London Metropolitan University.
