More and more controversial — the idea of dyslexia and its many forms — This is an independent centre to assess and give you solutions to deal with the «problems“associated.
As you go in there are photos of «Theo» from Dragons Den adorning the walls –the latest poster boy for the condition.
Richard Branson being the ultimate dyslexia king and «problem «story!
This centre came highly recommended and is for adults, children teachers and employers. There is also a helpline available.
I took my son in to be assessed with Dr. Rosalind Owens — a soft spoken lady with a gentle way with children. After 2 hours I was given an oral account of his skills and ways to improve and work on weaknesses and strengths. A more detailed written account followed.
I waited 4 months for this appointment and it is expensive — however I felt reassured that he was assessed correctly and can put skills in place for the future.
now just waiting for the millions to pour in…
