Specialties
Product range, service, value and speed.
We constantly curate our range to ensure that we always offer the most stylish, well-crafted glasses available, and our small stores (with their lower overheads) mean we can afford to offer these at great prices.
All staff are partners in the business so we all care, and fitting lenses in-house means that most orders are ready for collection (or free delivery) within a few days.
History
Established in 1999.
Established in 1999 Iris Optical began life as Iris Online Contact Lens Centre. Contact lens customers began asking whether we could supply spectacles, and so in May 2001 Iris Spectacles was launched.
Shortly afterwards our contact lens and spectacles businesses were merged under the Iris Optical name, and one year later the company premises by London’s Tower Bridge was opened to the public and the first Iris store was born. Our Richmond store followed in 2005, and in 2007 we opened our City store.
