A friend and I were on our way to Thai food when we passed this place just as someone was coming out with a box of pizza. One whiff and we spun around and walked in. While we didn’t have reservations on a Saturday night, they were able to squeeze us in before somebody else’s reservation. Downstairs is mostly take away and looks like your ordinary quick take away Italian, but upstairs has quite nice dine in experience with tables and candles and art on the walls! We ordered a 18″ to share between the two of us. Um, wow. Largest pizza I’ve ever seen. Sure, maybe 18″ in width, but looked like 30″ in length. We got half pepperoni, half 4 cheeses. Absolutely delicious, and needless to say, had a lot to take home. The waitresses were delightful and very helpful and Tony, I’m assuming the owner, was your typical Italian and gave us some shots of limoncello on the way out. Felt like a very authentic experience and will definitely be coming back!

A small, cozy plaze a bit outside the busiest streets of London. We were the first to arrive after opening, and had the whole restaurants to ourselves. The owner presented the menu and explained that the large size pizza really was large. Even though he was a little intense in the beginning, the Italian charm made it work out OK. When we got our food we realized how big the pizza really was. The pizza will feed 4 people easily! The pizza parma was delicious, and I can happily recommend the place to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food.

A decent spot. The food is fairly average but no complaints. The pizzas are perhaps a little expensive. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. Good for a simple, low-key meal.

Here I learned that an 18 inch pizza should only be ordered if you intend to eat leftover pizza for a week. The broccoli with olive oil and garlic was great, but – as the salt freak I am – I thought it needed salt. The service was a bit on the slow side, but we were on the top floor so I can really only have sympathy for the poor waitresses that have to trek up and down the levels all day. Also, if you want dressing on the side for a salad, make sure you ask for the salad not to be dressed or else they will just bring you a dressed salad with bottles of olive oil and balsamic.

Our family was looking for an easy bite to eat during our first weekend in London and we found International Pizza Connection on Unilocal when looking for a family restaurant. It’s a narrow shop but two stories so we were taken upstairs and the room is really nice with solid wooden tables. It’s a traditional big italian menu with antipasti, pastas, meat/fish entrees, a ton of pizza varieties and sides. Our family was trying to thread the needle between«I want pizza!» and«I want to eat healthy» so we got an 18″ with half basil, cheese and marinara and the other half pineapple, mainly to appeal to our six-year old. We also ordered a mixed salad and two orders of broccoli with garlic. Our waitress was sweet but English was her second language and we struggled a bit to communicate. My daughter asked for«dressing on the side» and was served a dressed salad with oil and vinegar brought«on the side». An understandable mistake, but not ideal. The pizza dough is a thin crust without a lot flavor but it was backed perfectly so was crunchy yet not burnt. The cheese was the right amount for our taste and the sauce average. The broccoli was great if you like garlic and a bit of butter. On the plus side, the owner came by the table to ask how things were and he was genuinely interested to know and made me feel like he would have addressed any concern if we had one. We had to go downstairs to pay as the waitress hadn’t brought the bill and it seemed like the owner wasn’t entirely pleased with the waitress. Perhaps she was new. Overall: solid food, a nice upstairs environment, and a caring owner. We might go back but are more likely to keep exploring.

Walked in there today while I did some laundry at the laundromat across the street. I couldn’t of been more pleased that I found a excellent pizza place in my area! I was originally planning on just getting two slices but the kind staff and owner gave me half a pizza for free plus my two slices all for 7 quid! In terms of the quality it really was top notch, the pepperoni was delicious. Not too greasy, plenty of cheese, well seasoned flavor with fresh pepperoni on top. The cheese pizza was also really nice with plenty of flavour and just the right texture and consistency. I ordered them to take away but the place itself was really cozy, with classy décor and two fridges filled with appealing homemade desserts. I walked out of there satisfied with my pizza box, sat down on the nearest bench and ate slice by slice. Not the most healthy option but it certainly made my evening. Everyone should check this place out. I’ll be back!

This is the best place to go for a Pizza. I have not seen any Pizza place that comes close to this one. As we live close we are regular customers and the Pizza is great. The size is enormous so we share one pizza with two.

Fantastic pizza place. Sit down and take away, the staff are Italian and the pizzas are both enormous(2 between 5 left us stuffed) and delicious.

This is by far the best place for pizza in London. Three of us shared a 16″ with a choice of two toppings — yum! It’s run by Italians so you know you’re getting the real deal. The staff are charming too! Highly recommended!

About two weeks ago I was looking for a new and nice Italian restaurant not too far away. After some research, I found the Italian Pizza Connection, so I headed over from Maida Vale to Bayswater. It’s a nice little restaurant, and I think it’s best if you get a table upstairs. The staff are very very friendly and attentive. I ordered a pizza and despite having seen the pizzas when I walked in, I was impressed by the enormous size. Even better, this gigantic pizza tasted excellent. I ended up taking about a third of the pizza home for the next day. Given the size, the pizza is really inexpensive. If you go there with some friends or family, you should consider buying just one pizza and see if you really need more. After I decided to bag a third, I was comfortable going for a dessert. I was happy and they still had the profiteroles, which tasted as great as the pizza. Even the coffee I ordered was acceptable. It wasn’t by far as good as the food, but compared to the coffee many other restaurants offer, I was almost pleased with that cup. If you’re really hungry or want to eat pizza for some two or three days in a row, Italian Pizza Conection is the place to go. It’s a nice restaurant with big quality pizza on offer. If you go there as a group, you might find it really cheap as well.

Surprised I didn’t find this place already on Qype! A little gem just off Queensway that offers a truly authentic Italian café feel and which serves simple Italian cooking in the style you would expect on your hols! At ground floor there are about 6 tables but more upstairs and the authenticity comes from being short on space but it is not at all uncomfortable. Atmosphere at this level is best. Staff very welcoming and friendly although English a little hesitant but that adds to the adventure. On the other hand it is convenient to go there with an Italian speaker in your party as that way you can be specific to the contents of the fish soup which is prepared whilst you wait and excellent. The Pizzas are enormous and spotted that on the way in so left that for one of the others to try. I went for the Vesuvius comprising a plate of fresh Calamari and king prawns grilled in garlic. I think there may have been some salad there as well but as I was already in heaven it is a little difficult to remember! Wasn’t keen on the wine suggested by the pizza chef but that’s just question of taste. How he found time to have a conversation with our tame Italian whilst tossing pizza dough high to the ceiling will remain a mystery. We also had a sharing platter starter comprised of grilled veggies(peppers and sliced aubergine) salad and Buffalo Mozzarella which was presented attractively but not keen on anything cold that has been barbecue’d as it seems at odds with the concept. Bits I tried were OK though although wouldn’t order that again. We were also given a small taster to try of a mint flavoured sweet that looked a little like tiramisu but with different flavour. If you have a sweet tooth you’ll love this. They also kindly offered us a liqueur with our coffee on the house which went down amazingly well. You can also order the menu as a take out so brought that back with us so that I can be ready next time to stick with my favourites and leave the recommendations to others! All in all a lovely evening and at around £20 a head not bad for a Saturday night out. Would definitely go again although might try the other branch(28 Rainville Road Fulham) first as parking is a bit easier around there.

I’m not sure if I was just so happy that the pizza arrived in 20 minutes(always takes an hour in SF!), or if it really was that delicious. One thing for sure is the pizzas are enormous. They use the biggest boxes possible, and the bolognese pizza still had to be cut up to fit in the box! The only issue with the pizza, is that when you make them that large, they can be a teeny bit soggy in the middle, but still very tasty. Skip the salad, unless you just love ice berg lettuce in oil.

The Italian Pizza Connection is a fairly new restaurant. I always pass it on my way home from the tube station and look in at the the huge pizzas they have in the window. It is a small restaurant while there are a few tables to sit in, the emphasis seems to be on takeaway. I got a pizza to share for takeaway; half siciliana, half americana(there’s a £1 surcharge for going half/half). The 16″ pizza(pretty huge) cost £14. The crust seems to be neither pan nor thin and they certainly didn’t skimp on the toppings. It was really good, and whilst a little heavy going you could taste the individual flavours rather than everything merging into one. A great place to get a pizza; more substantial and tasty than any of the main chains and good value considering the size of them. Also there is free local delivery(see phone number) for orders over £10.
