Best Kung pao prawns I’ve had recently. Had Sichuan peppercorns in it and peanuts rather than the ubiquitous cashews. It was fragrant, tasty, not greasy and fairly good value at £8.20. The egg fried rice was very good. Not too greasy and not too salty. The tofu and seafood hotpot was a soothing counterpoint to the kung pao. The fried pork bun were perfectly OK. I must say the har gao(prawn dim sum) are better at Royal China. The sweet and sour pork was not a t all bad, crispy and lean, and again not bad value, but the sauce wasn’t quite bang on in the way that it is at China Tang at the Dorchester! But it’s a very good local option. And I think the restaurant spells its name as Jing Jun Ge

I have to agree with Joanna, this is very authentic Chinese cuisine for London. I’ve been here three or four times. The dim sum is very similar to Hong Kong, and the Kung Pao chicken is almost exactly the way it’s made in Cheng Du, Sichuan. I will keep going back and you should try it too!

As a native Chinese, I have to say this is the best Chinese food that I have in London, much better than those in China town. The price is reasonable.
