Being independent gives us total control and boundless flexibility to create precious, yet affordable jewellery. We enjoy mixing gold with silver, diamonds with pearls, matte with shine, vintage with modern — the magic is in the mix! Our customers like to break the rules and we appreciate a good surprise.

Collections include miniature, detailed animals and spices to combine and layer on chains and bracelets, chunky silver cuffs, gold spiders and beetles, precious creations with diamonds and colour rich gemstones.

Our belief is that you are never fully dressed without a statement necklace, an armful of bangles or some head-​turning earrings. Jewellery can be both a conversation starter and the finishing touch — last to be put on, first to be noticed.

History

Established in 1989.

Joy Everley Fine Jewellery is a unique family business. Truly independent shops in London’s West End are a rarity these days, but here is our beautiful shop, firmly established for 15 years in Newburgh St, Soho, just a (precious) stone’s throw from Oxford Circus.

Since 1998 we have built a valued loyal following of local fashionistas and stylists, and now our comprehensive web site puts our authentic jewellery within reach of all. Pile it on with abandon — the more the merrier!

JOY is not only the name of our creative director and chief jewellery designer, but also our ethos! Look closely at most of the jewellery pieces to find the word JOY inscribed as a message or tag.

Joy has been creating jewelley for many years. These days Joy’s life is divided between spending time with customers at the Newburgh Street shop, working from home in Snowdonia and design trips to Thailand. Inspiration comes from Joy’s own desire to wear unusual, fresh and enhancing jewellery design incorporating precious metals and stones.
