Very small but interesting place. A variety of cake options and teas that makes me wonder what to select. Nonetheless, due to busy timings we had to seat outside and our beverages got cold quickly. Also, very pricey for the portions.

Avoid! Tourist trap located near the V&A that we unfortunately fell victim too! Cons — Staff were nice but inattentive — saw patrons waiting and then they walked out when no one paid them any attention in getting a table — terribly wobbly table which didn’t help with the cutlery, tea and water glass — no free wifi –possibly worst Victoria sponge cake I have had in my life — love earl grey tea, and got their variety and it just lacked that real Bergamot flavour — scone was okay, fresh cream delish but the accompanying jam was super heavy and sat too sweetly on the toungue. — mistake made with my bill and I had to bring it to their attention — wet spots on the plates Yeah, not coming back.

It all look very nice but I was somewhat disappointed with the cakes. I am French and they sell themselves as French patisserie so I was really looking forward to it(missing the homeland a bit at times) Presentation is fab but I understood what there wasn’t a queue to get a table here whereas there was queues for the other cafes in the street. The cream of the cakes was very heavy and the coffee was only satisfactory. I had café gourmand(selection of little cakes with a coffee). I was told there was some Tarte Tatin(my favourite) but there wasn’t any(the closest thing was some pastry with compote on top) I am not sure how long they have been opened for, but there was plenty of people working there. However they didn’t seem to be very well organised as they kept on bumping into each others and repeating steps. This patisserie is in an ideal location, with a strong French community around. The shop /café is a pleasant place(if you don’t mind so much pink) but they need to decide what they actually want to do: do they want to be a «patisserie» or a «salon de the» and staff should be fully trained(they should be able to work the till if they are taking payments from customers) If they want to attract more tourists or Londoners, having a French name is not enough. In addition, they should be able to describe the menu in English.

Kind of expansive but with lovely cakes and desserts. eels fancier than price with the cakes displayed like as valuables. The coffee gourmand, coffee and selection of tiny cakes was adorable. Coffee not great, but visit for the sweets
