The Lamb Tavern has been a part of the tapestry of the City of London since 1780.
The historical listed building in the heart of Leadenhall market is a sanctuary for hard working city professionals, visitors and tourists alike, looking for some respite from the bustle of London.
Situated adjacent to Lloyd’s of London, and within minutes of Monument, Bank and Liverpool St Stations, it is a majestic venue over three floors, leading onto the cobblestones of the Marketplace. The Lamb Tavern also provides a unique venue to hold Weddings, Events and Celebrations.
History
Established in 1780.
Originally built in 1309 by Sir Hugh Neville, The Lamb Tavern is situated right at the heart of Leadenhall Market. The original building had a large lead roof — hence the name ‘Leadenhall’. Situated adjacent to Lloyd’s of London, and within minutes of Monument, Bank and Liverpool St Stations, The Lamb Tavern is a majestic venue over three floors — including the recently launched ‘Old Tom’s’ basement bar.
