A 2-​floor café with a roof terrace and sunny outdoor seating, MAP Studio Café is located in the tranquil leafy backstreets of Kentish Town just a stone’s throw from Camden’s vibrant music scene and the green calm of North London that is Hampstead Heath. Serving up locally sourced and lovingly homemade food to MAP Studio recording artists and the local community for the past 5 years the café is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

With its diverse music connections, the MAP stereo plays a constant soundtrack of new and classic chill out, jazz, reggae and world music — customers can even hang out and choose what to listen to whilst eating breakfast and reading the day’s newspapers or surfing the web with the café’s free Wi-​Fi.

The recording studio offers a unique creative space with a great selection of vintage and modern equipment, offering recording, mixing, production and location recording services. The venue is wired to the studio giving the option of recording live events.

Our intimate venue space plays host to an eclectic live events programme, featuring live Jazz, World Music, Soul, Reggae DJs and film nights. We also hire out the space for private functions, film locations and corporate events. Clients include Rihanna, ²⁰⁄₂₀ Productions, Sky TV and The Green Party.

MAP was established in 1992, starting out as a recording studio, record label and streetwear clothing brand, MAP has worked with artists such as Dawn Penn, Goldie, Roots Manuva and Junior Delgado.
