Massato has personally trained the teams he works with. This ensures that he is surrounded by people who share his hairdressing vision, his techniques and his interest in the client and their wellbeing. Nowadays, he splits his time equally between his salons in Paris, London and Tokyo.
Massato welcomes you to our New space occupying 40 m2 in the heart of South Kensigton. Having cut and styled models for magazines and the catwalk, we bring you our hairdressing vision, with Western and Oriental influences.
History
Established in 1975.
Massato’s story begins in 1975 when he arrived from Japan armed with his hairdresser’s diploma, and decided to conquer Paris, the fashion capital of the world. His youth and talent very quickly opened doors to the studios of the best photographers. For 20 years, he cut and styled the world’s most beautiful models for the biggest magazines and on the catwalk.

After years working in the world of photo sessions, in 1993 Massato opened his own salon in Paris’s 7th arrondissement. Massato now owns three salons in Paris. Massato is no ordinary hairdresser and he loves to showcase what sets him apart from the others. His Japanese origins lend him a discrete quality, a love of silence which allows him to watch and listen, and think, a respect for individuality and a desire for perfection.
The world of fashion has left him with a lasting curiosity for the latest trends and a great eye for the new, he has the easy and casual manner of someone with a great spirit and talent. This double influence, both western and oriental, can be seen throughout his career and in his hairdressing concept and technique.
