Avoid, avoid, avoid. Yes they have insurance but no they will not claim against it or accept liability for damaged clothes. These guys are cheap but don’t risk it. 2 shirts ruined. Complain to the owner? Forget it, gets all aggressive and bars you from his shops… Thankfully there is the small claims court process…

This dry cleaner is convenient for me but I wouldn’t take my cleaning there if it were the only one for 100 miles around. The one time I went, they tried to conceal a stain they’d failed to remove on a pale jacket of mine, became quite aggressive and said they never guarantee to get stains out, and said I’d told them it was fruit juice when it was actually coffee. Well who is likely to know, I ask myself. I took the jacket to another dry cleaner in the neighbourhood and they got the stain out for me first time, and without the fuss. My friend had to resort to the small claims court to get compensation for them ruining her expensive skirt. They told her it was a design fault, but sadly for them she works for the designer. Court ruled in her favour, twice. In any dry cleaners, ask yourself ‘do they do the cleaning on the premises, or do they send it away?’. If, as here, they send it away, there is little quality control and very little interest in doing a good job. Avoid.

Terrible. They lost a huge amount of my clothing and denied it. Unfortuantly I was naïve and put too much trust into the company and did not count the number of items I left with them. I had damp problems in my flat, so I left them with huge amounts of my wardrobe to wash and dry. Obviously they took advantage and realised there was that much stuff, I probably wouldn’t realise missing items. It was only when I went to put my pjamas and lingerie away in my bedroom draws, I realised they had lost all of my underwear (socks, pants and bras) and had also given me back odd sets of pjamas. 3 sets of my pjamas now have either missing pants or missing tops, so I can’t wear them. They also dry cleaned both a delicate dress and my favourite jumper and completely ruined them.
When I did telephone, I assumed there was a bag of my missing laundry they had just forgotten to give me and expected to get it back but they just denied everything and made me feel like I was hassling them. I would definitely not recommend unless you want a wardrobe clear out.

Masterclean! Yep, they’re the masters.
I’ve only used it once, but my word was my suit clean when I got it back. And pretty cheap as well. Are they the masters, I wondered? Small little shop, but perfectly formed. And right next to the tube.
Also do shoe repairs. Just in case.
