Recommended by Delia Smith as her favourite Indian restaurant and loved by Alan Hansen along with many other celebrities, Memsaheb on Thames has established itself as one of the best Indian restaurants in London. We are committed to delivering excellent quality Indian food prepared fresh every day in the heart of Docklands, extremely close to Canary Wharf, all served by a friendly team for whom every detail is important.

We are honoured that Delia Smith has named Memsaheb on Thames as her favourite Indian restaurant in various interviews she has given including on her BBC2 show in March 2008 and in an interview in the Home and Woman Magazine. Further Delia and the owner, Mr Moni Das, have recreated an easy-to-cook recipe of the Memsaheb favourite of Goan Lamb Xacuti for inclusion in Delia’s book ‘How to Cheat at Cooking’. She is a regular guest and hosts occasional parties here too!
