How to categorise this place! It’s a Colombian burger joint that also does tapas. We were in the area, really hungry and remembered this place that was randomly recommended to us by somebody we knew. I must admit to having no expectations. It’s cheap and cheerful, The interior is kind of sparse and basic, the menu is laminated and in both Spanish and English and, as such, you kind of grasp that it is what it is. We went for burgers, which received the aforementioned recommendation. They were huge and were served with a canned drink and wedges for just £6. More expensive than a kebab shop and much better quality too. Problem was, they were a bit sickly by the end. You couldn’t get just a small burger, these things came with bacon and cheese as standard. Mine had a fried egg in it too and the combination of flavours didn’t quite work for me. It just seemed like a load of garnish to offset the lackluster patty. The saving grace for my wife was the passion fruit mixed juice drink she got. If we’re in the area again and starving, I’d consider stopping. However, I wouldn’t travel across this fair city for what they’re serving up.
