I arrived in London with a pocket full of dreams, a bag full of clean
pants (thanks mum) and a head full of wildly scruffy hair. Desperate to
disguise my provincial bonce beneath an ultra hip Mod cut I set about
trying to find a salon that looked like it had just the right balance
between friendly and ‘hip’.
I got chatting to the manager at Pretty Green in Convent Garden and she
very helpfully recommended a chap called Drew at Milners Hairdressing in
Bloomsbury. I strolled along and discovered that not only is he a
thoroughly nice guy, he also gave me the finest trim I’ve ever had.
I’m delighted to have stumbled upon such a top hairdresser in London and
would (and do) recommend him to absolutely everyone I meet. And while
my bag full of clean pants is becoming rapidly diminished, at least I
know my ‘grizzly bear’ (as you cockneys say) is always looking sharp
thanks to my pal Drew. A legend.

Great stylists in a funky friendly atmosphere, I always feel comfortable asking for exactly what I want without getting any funny looks or eye rolling like some of the big chains out there! And what’s best is they give me the cut I want plus much much more! This place comes HIGHLY recommended by me! Love the new location too!

Milners has recently moved from Camden’s Parkway to Bloomsbury. (Yay! right around the corner from my work!) I can’t recommend them highly enough! and now in a bright new salon. It still has a cool, relaxed feel but in a new, fresh salon, still incorporating it’s funky retro/​contemporary style. Also in a more interesting area of London!!! :) Great prices for a salon in Central London. I couldn’t even contemplate going anywhere else!

Milner’s is a small salon/​barber shop that is tucked away on Parkway ut of the hustle and bustle of the heart of Camden Town. Because of this they aren’t trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible and they take their time to ensure you are getting what you really want. They are a friendly and proficient staff, and made recommendations to my initial suggestions that worked out well. After completing the work the fella informed me that I should feel free to come back in any time to trim up the sides, I thought that was a nice addition.
Good mix of conversation and just getting the job done. I hate overly chatty people especially when it is all façade. However, I do enjoy a bit of conversation, and this was just right. This was my first cut from them and I will be going back again for my future ones.
