If you’re getting out of the Hoxton Overground Station and wandering around aimlessly, there’s a good chance you’ll bump into this one. Funnily, if you try to look for 134 Kingsland Road, you’re not going to find it because the entrance is on Cremer St, and not on Kingsland Road.
The space is not enormous, but has been done up with lots of celeb photos (Elvis is on one entire wall).
With a friendly staff, prompt service and competent kitchen works, it’s really got everything you would want for a quick café bite.
Note: They don’t accept debit/​credit cards, so make sure you have cash or you will have to walk west on Cremer St into Fairkirk St to the nearest cash machine by the bus stop next to Hackney Community College.
