Mothercare

First visit to this store, really huge and lots of buggies/​prams to see and special offers on lots of stuff — excellent BUT no air conditioning or ceiling fans to be seen!!! I mean come on, lots of pregnant women/​Mums with young children, and I would say if it’s hot outside don’t bother, wait till weather cools down. it was a really hot day today, we would have stayed a lot longer if it had been cool — we couldn’t wait to get out of there! There was one air con unit by the tills but come on Mothercare, you make a lot of money, put some proper air con in this store please. When I spoke to a member of staff about it, she said the staff have to suffer too!!! True tho, they must be melting!

Whether you are expecting a baby, or have small children already, this mothercare is a one-​stop shop for all your needs.
Its very large and consists of two floors, the downstairs being Mothercare itself and the upper level being the Early Learning Centre.
The store stocks a huge variety of all baby/​children/​toddler items including cots, pushchairs, and clothing for both the little ones and expectant mothers.
There is also a Clarks shoe shop to the left hand side of the store where trained shoe fitters will be happy to help you kit out your children’s feet.
Shop staff are friendly and helpful, and always willing to demonstrate products.
The only slight downside is the parking, which can get a bit crowded on busy weekends — however there are other car parks opposite for the stores across the way — Argos, Wickes and Next.

This is a huge Mothercare World. It is located close to other shops and retail outlets around in the area. It is very easy to find it and there is enough parking around the area. The shop itself is pretty big and is split in two levels. They have full range of clothing for babies, older children and maternity wear. They also have a section for accessories and furniture as well. At one end they have all travel accessories including prams, car seats and the like. At the front of the store they also a Clarks in store so that you can get your childs right shoe size. The upstairs mainly has toys and it is a really nice shop.
