Such a lovely little park. Partly hidden away, it’s a beautiful little gem of a spot. Clearly a leftover bit of past urban planning, it’s a quiet bit of calm surrounded by hustle and bustle. So pretty!

I love hidden parks! Mount Street Gardens is not a secret one…“easy to miss” would be more appropriate. I discovered this lush little oasis while exploring Mayfair for the 1st time, walking past Mount Street’s world-class luxury shops before stumbling upon the gardens. It was peaceful, at least when I went. The foliage is lovely– manicured plants and bushes on the surface and towering trees engulfing you and the garden area. This is an excellent, classic place to «get away» if you’re around Mayfair, which is already quite quaint for its proximity to bustling Central London. Highly Recommended!

A charming litte garden in the heart of Mayfair, just behind The Punchbowl, a kind of hidden spot that is worth taking a look at. Although it is certain that it is not a ‘secret’ garden anymore, as it has been mentioned, I still have discovered this place to some people that have worked in the vicinity for years and never knew it existed. It still is a quiet garden most time of the year, only getting busier at lunch times on sunny and warm days. But there are benches on both sides of the walks, so you will always be able to find a place to sit. There is quite a variety of birds to spot for such a small garden, and nice and well looked after trees and flowers as well. It is a lovely place to have a break in the middle of the day and read a book or just let the time pass by. Beware that if you are an early bird like me, the opening times of the park vary, as sometimes it is open at 7am but others it isn’t open until almost 7.30am or so. I have not seen an opening times notice anywhere, I think this is just due to the person responsible of opening the park pressing the snooze buttons too many times ;)

It’s nice to have a little bit of green in Mayfair where you can sit out and let the world pass you by

Agree with Yvt, excellent little park, secret location no more! — very peaceful and immaculately maintained — a lovely contrast to the urban surroundings.

This secret garden is situated in the heart of Mayfair. I was amazed when I discovered it. The garden is very small, taking only a few minutes to walk from one end to the other. But the atmosphere is magical. It feels like a true escape from the usual grime and bustle of central London. There is no real reason to go there apart from to enjoy the quiet and in the summer the huge plane trees which line the park provide ample shade. There is also no shortage of benches to sit on.
