An oasis. Twice as nice for being so unexpected in the middle of docklands/​canary wharf. Great café with lots of good things made on the premises.

Mudchute kitchen is based in mudchute city farm. The farm is free and has a wide range of animals to see, all set in a pretty green space. The farm and café is a very short walk from mudchute dlr station, so day out to the farm or just visiting the café is easy.
staff were friendly and the food was good, although my one bad point is it needed seasoning and the tables had no salt or pepper. The quality of produce was very high.
I can recommend this as a pleasent place for tea and (home made) cakes which looked very yum, lunch or breakfast.
