Nando’s is good. It’s a major chain that has an interesting take on the bird, compared to the otherwise bland offerings in the city. Sorry for the dig, Londoners. This Nando’s is nice. Its trendy, spacious and accommodating. You secure a table, order up front and they bring your food to your table. A table near the seating area features plenty of unique and interesting sauces for you to sample with your chicken. The chicken itself is not exceptionally tender or luscious – just good – but the sauces that you can put on them really add the flavor that you need. I recommend the lemon pepper sauce – it was a welcome relief from the altogether disappointing garlic sauce. The lemon pepper sauce had a nice tangy kick, but retained hints of a savory flavor. Also, the chips [fries] were noteworthy – definitely get them with the seasoning. In a city where you can get chips with every meal, I was disappointed time and time again to see just plain f — ing fried potatoes. Throw some damn steak seasoning on there! Nando’s, thankfully, offers chips [fries] with their Peri-Peri seasoning. It’s a citrus-influenced seasoning that tastes nice. You won’t be able to stop eating them.

I came here whilst on a course and staying nearby. The table placements were not great and the atmosphere was OK but not welcoming, more like a diner style. The food was nice as always and the staff were OK. Not my favourite Nando’s but judge for yourself.

A few minutes away from the heart of the City, this Nando’s is very well decorated, and quite spacious. As was said earlier, service is quite quick, even during busy hours.

New to london, I had no idea what a nando’s what. And being blind as a bad, the place attracted me because I thought it was a pizza place. Doesnt the logo look like a chef tossing a pizza, like when you dont really look at it? hahah. But when I looked at the menu, I thought hey why not. My friend shayne and I went right in. Their layout was pretty nice, like a place trying to be classy yet it’s a order at the front and get a number kind of joint. Nevertheless my dish was de-lish! I forget what I had though, some chicken patty thing in a pita + mashed taters on the side. The sandwich was good but it was the tatoes that stole my heart, that worked my meal together. It was all creamy and buttery goodness! Shayne had a veggiechickenburger and he said his was real good too! We were originally just going for a snack but the menu drew us in for an all out dinner that left us so stuffed! But so well worth it :) prices aint bad either.

It’s much like any other Nando’s except that since it’s a brand new branch they have great Air-con. Service is quick, except for Friday lunchtime, when everybody seems very over-worked coping with the queue of people desperate to sink their teeth into spicy chicken. Take-away-ers be aware, count all the items as they bag ‘em up. The kitchen staff are so busy that they often get a few items wrong. A moment of scrutiny will prevent you from walking back to your office with somebody else’s lunch.
