Nicholas Barber Shop

At first I’m afraid to cut my hair into another barber shop. But when there once my friend recommend me in here at Nicholas Barber shop i was really shock because they know about my style that I’ve been looking for. And not all that the price was so cheap. I couldn’t imagine that i can have my nice haircut in a cheaper and negotiable price. Thanks sir! and to all the staffs who help me for my needs too.

I introduced Mr Barnett after I had my hair done there. I am always going local to my hairdresser in Marlow although I work in London. this will not happen again! Nicholas did a great job and is 5 mins from where I work, I can go on my lunchbreak and know that I will have time to eat as well. Fast, efficient and quality.5 stars for me as well.

Spinning barber pole? Check. Crusty old Italian wielding scissors? Check. Three chairs, narrow shop, no fuss? Check, check, check.
Looks like a no-​nonsense old-​school barbers, but why do they charge 12.50 for a simple (but competent) trim?

I quite like my hair as it is, and being quite scruffy in general I’ve never made much of an effort. Consequently I’m fairly utilitarian about getting my hair cut, which I guess is an important qualification for the review.
Nicholas Barbers is traditional men’s barbers run by two friendly aging Mediterranean men by Charlotte Street that has existed in its present location for over forty years. The shop is noticeable due to a scissor shaped sign post that stands out in the street. It is a small place with room for three men to get the hair cut at a time, though there are often only two barbers in the shop. The design is very traditional (large mirrors, vinyl chairs etc.) which isn’t without its charm. There is a radio playing a sports channel and you can talk or not talk.
I’ve been going to Nicholas for about two years. I get a standard back and sides cut which they do quickly and well for a cheap price. The last time I got my hair cut somewhere proper they told me I had difficult hair to cut, so I imagine the guys here are pretty good.
