Nicholson & Griffin

After a not so pleasant and interesting (I’m trying out my passive aggressive British vocaublary here) first hair cut in London, I decided to just go to the nearest barber in Canary Wharf where I work, and just get one of those wham bam thank you ma’am kind of haircuts. While this was the expectation, after going to N&G, I was happily surprised with the outcome!
A nice fella by the name of Michal was my stylist and I explained to him how I would like my hair and off to work he went. He was very quick, but in the experienced kind of way. For some reason, perhaps the fact that I have unicorn blood running through my veins, the front of my head produces much longer hair than the back. Michal was able to craft his fingers through my unicorn hair to make a shape through his scissor and sheers technique. The end result, I was looking like a hot mo-​fo unicorn just in time for New Years Eve.
I paid my £30, thanked Michal for his nice craftsmanship, and he will be seeing me next month when I go back!

It took me a bit of a walk though Jubilee Place Mall but the searching was well worth it. After an easy, efficient online booking the night before, Nicholson and Griffin satisfied all of my expectations and more.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and excellent services make this small Barber one of the best I’ve visited in England. Whether you’re just visiting London or are a local looking for top notch services and excellently trained staff– Nicholson and Griffin won’t disappoint.
An easy 5 stars.

No fuss barber. Polite staff. Fast service. Brilliant for gents who want barber/​hairdresser know what you want after one sentence.
4 out 5 because it is a bit pricy.

Ok so this is a gentlemen’s only hairdresser.
But truth be told, so many men in Britain are styled by their female friends. So I’ll just review this now :)
Convenient location, good prices and excellent service. They have a stylebook with general styles of cut and styling so it may be a good diea to start from there and discuss the rest.
Book early for Saturdays.
