Since 2001 Nick through Acumen International has been helping international companies to establish their presence in different markets in the former Soviet block countries. Nick started his career and gained his business experience with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and later with the global consulting company Accenture (former Andersen Consulting), working over a five-​year period in both Russia and in the United Kingdom. During this time he advised both international and local oil & gas companies on compliance issues.

Nick holds an MBA degree in Finance from the Moscow Academy of National Economy under the government of Russia and an ACCA (Professional stage). He is also a Bachelor in Linguistics, the English and Arabic languages
