History

Established in 2008.

Of Cabbages & Kings first set up shop in May 2008. Since then we have been establishing creative networks and platforms for designers and makers in London and across the UK.

We stock an inspiring range of contemporary fine art prints by local illustrators, mostly in limited edition and the space is as much an arts and crafts gallery as it is a gift shop. With an incredible array of bags, books, cards, ceramics, jewellery, kitchenware, prints and tea towels, the shop is bright, inviting and you’re sure to find something that will tickle your fancy. All our products are made in the UK by British based designers and makers.

In October 2012 Of Cabbages & Kings took up new residence at 127 Stoke Newington High Street, also the home of Knit with attitude, specialists in eco-​friendly and fairtrade yarn.

Together we offer a full programme of workshops, courses and events throughout the year for complete novices, beginners and those with a bit more confidence. Please take a look at our Work
