Specialties

Hillspring Lodge is a multiple award winning hostel brought to you by the same team that produced Palmers Lodge. We may not have a grand old Victorian mansion but we have paid the same attention to detail to create a cracking backpacker with emphasis on comfort, safety and character. Our comfortable rooms and dorms, spacious and stylish common areas, added security in the form of key card operated gates and lockers and a bar and restaurant are just some of the reasons for choosing to stay at Hillspring Lodge on your next visit to London. We aim to bring our guests a unique hostel experience so far not seen in London. With a fun design and quirky collector objects, plus a great deal of thought to the things that other hostels overlook such as alluring spaces — including a Bar & Restaurant offering great deals every night, free Wi-Fi, freebreakfasts and comfortable, clean, secure accommodation. Our aim is to ensure that our guests feel like they are a guest at our own home.

History

Established in 1954.

Originally built as accommodation for the Police, the buildings were subsequently converted into the Brondesbury Park Hotel and since 2009, managed by Harvestglen Properties Ltd. the same people behind Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage, the first boutique hostel in London and winner of numerous awards from around the world — including London’s Best Hostel for three years running.

Hillspring Lodge was refurbished throughout to create a fresh and remarkable scheme that resulted in a highly successful luxury hostel that now allows budget travellers to enjoy modern facilities and also the quirky character of this impressive building in a leafy neighborhood in North London with great transport links to the West End.
