Truly unique home wears shop, with a nice café at back space.
Items are really unique, perfect place to look for last minute gift ideas. Go to the basement for some very nice posters.
Café serves nice sandwiches, and most important — high quality coffee.
And the setting is very relaxed, filled with artistic flair.

If I remember correctly, Pedlars was one of the first companies to offer weird and wonderful everyday items that time forgot — or at least they were the first company that made me feel nostalgic about a past I never had … Fast forward a few years and real vintage finds have become a rarety.
The Notting Hill shop has been around for quite a few years now, too, and I like to pop in for an escape from the hustle and bustle of Portobello Market. There’s a soothing atmosphere here, and the café at the perfect for a relaxing break. Actually perfect for reading a book, even though you’re more likely to find the usual crowd of freelancers behind their Macbooks here.
The items for sale are less true vintage than vintage inspired, but nothing wrong with that. Perfect gift items, they also just add to the general calmness of the place.

Pedlars is a real home ware dream shop. With it’s quirky vintage staples raging from limited edition prints, to metal watering cans, to mason jars, they stock all kinds of wonderful objects to suit various budgets. Although it’s not the biggest shop, it does feel like a hidden treasure trove which you’ll want to spend quite some time exploring.
The stock changes quite regularly so there is always something new to discover. Not only that, but they have their own little coffee machine too — and more often than not, the wonderful staff will offer you a free coffee when you come in to the store. Lovely!
