Needed sustenance half way through the Ideal Home Show and knew there was a Pizza Express added on, so we honed in at lunch time. I love these restaurants and great that we can find them everywhere. This restaurant was very contemporary in design with clean lines and clean everything else. Service was attentive and involved when I had a question about a new menu item. Sicillian Lemonade, so totally yummy, can’t get enough. The calorie controlled items on the menu are a great idea coz that means you can still have your pizza and eat it. The honeycomb desert cake thing, is so delicious and demands taking your time to savour every mouthful.

We stopped in here for a late lunch during the yoga show at the exhibition centre. I was glad to have this place as an option as the overpriced cafes in the centre just didn’t appeal to me. What more can you say about pizza express? Same same — but different right? This place is huge so it is good for groups.

Went to this Pizza Express for a quick meal before going to the cinema. We had a main and entrée deal for 10 pounds. This being my second time to pizza express meant I knew what to expect. It’s not the kinda pizza you are hurrying back for or can’t go without but it is edible and the ingredients are fresh nonetheless. Standard meal for reasonable price.

I’m a fan of the Pizza Express chain. Sure it’s ubiquitous but they do make a decent pizza. This location near the Olympia Exhibition Centre however was a bit of a let-down. Location is handy if you are at a convention next door, but otherwise there really is no reason to go here. The atmosphere was one of the most chaotic and un-restaurant-like of any of the Pizza Express places I’ve frequented. It basically looks like you are eating in the lobby of a school or hospital. There are few walls, instead velvet ropes separate you from the rest of the building. Service was appalling… I got asked to move tables after ordering so they could combine tables for a group of teenagers. Sorry when you have already ordered and partially been served, it’s a bit rude to be ask to relocate. They also ran out of mixed greens for lunch… so no salads at all, there goes my attempt at a healthy lunch! The pizza though was tasty though so I do give them that and hence the 2 star and not 1 star rating.

Dough balls!!! I mean, that’s pretty much the only reason to go?! No, seriously, Pizza Express is a quality chain and I’ll support it here. You are getting chain-quality pizza with chain-quality service but at chain-quality prices… so deal with it! DRINK: — Definitely get a bottle of wine — the wines by the glass are pretty mediocre and it’s worth it given their selection. FOOD: — Apps: get the dough balls(I wasn’t kidding) — it will change your life! Also get some salad so you don’t feel as bad about yourself after the meal! — Mains: get pizza(seriously) and avoid anything else. La Reine is my favorite and some other good ones include: Soho, Giardiniera. Bring some friends, drink lots and you’ll have fun at any of the Pizza Express locations, but this one in particular!

Been here a few times and the food has always been fair to good. The pizza is tasty and the portion size for the value is also good. The atmosphere can be «iffy» at best. Sometimes there are lots of people in there and the vibe is nice, but if you go in when its not prime dining times, the food and certainly the service suffers. I have had about 5 different things on the menu and the pizza is the best thing to order, The desserts were a let down though. Not the best place to eat but you could so a lot worse.

I hate this place, half the time I come here they have private functions and don’t let me in. They always do that to me… But that’s only because it’s the nicest pizza express there is. =)
