I’m always stuck in 2 minds about Pod. I like what they are trying to do in that everything is pretty fresh however I just feel that most things end up seriously lacking in flavour. All of the hot meals come with the standard side of brown rice, edamame beans, peas and carrots which tend to impart most of the flavour. Both the pots and the soups have been disappointing when I’ve tried them and for £5.99 for a regular the portion sizes aren’t great. Where Pod does slightly come into its own is with some of their salads. These tend to use the same base salad however the dressings are always tasty and there is a decent amount ot produce, whether chicken, pork, salmon etc. Overall Pod is ok for just grabbing something on the go but it would never be my first choice

I added this place to Unilocal because I couldn’t find it here. I am kind of a regular here because I work near by and they are available on for online orders. There are plenty of healthy options here. I specifically like the energy pots that they serve. Very affordable. You could get a full meal for under 10GBP. When it comes to taste though, POD isn’t like flavor rich. I mean they sell Chana masala energy pot but it isn’t authentic chana masala flavor that you would get from an Indian restaurant. Similarly generally for those who like spicy and strong flavors, this may not be a great place. But for healthy salads and sandwiches and some of those bounce energy balls this is a great place which I why I am a fan of this place. The Thai green curry and red curries are really awesome though. They are exceptionally good when compared to other items. Lunch times get really busy as a lot of us order from here for pick up lunch via seamlessweb.
