I love Pret so much. The salads, sandwiches, soups, pastries and just everything. I love it all. Affordable and easy. I love all the Prets in London, honestly.

I love pret in NYC so a trip to the uk could not be complete without a stop at pret a manger. Yum yum yum.
The premise is the same and the sandwiches are more catered to local tastes. A bit zanier than what Americans might expect especially the crisps (aka potato chips).
For what I deem as NYC pricing (8 pounds /​$ 12 – 13) you can eat healthy/​local and organic.

Pret uses very high quality ingredients. Local/​organic/​etc. Very good selection of sandwiches. Love the crisps and the soda selection — especially recommend the Ginger Beer!
There is a good amount of seating in this Pret location. I noticed there were a few folks with their laptops. I didn’t think Pret was a camp-​out-​with-​your-​laptop type of place — that was a bit annoying especially because one of the men with the laptop was very smelly.
KC – there are many Pret locations in the US, but I believe all of them are in New York City.

What a life saver Pret is when you only have less than 10 Euros left! We were starving and thank goodness we had the dumb luck of running into this one. Where everywhere else we had to pay a min. of 5 Euros to eat, Pret came and save the day! We ate for 2 with only 5 Euros!
