A very convenient location for meeting people. Staff are generic as normal, friendly and efficient, you’re in and out before you know it. The Tuna salad was exactly as I recalled it to be — which is why I love Pret — you know exactly what you’re going to get here… If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all: — What else can I say — this is a Pret! If you’ve been to one, then putting layout aside, well you’ve been to them all. Quality, service, food options, they’re all standard across the board. I’ve never been keen on the coffee, but every now and then I get a hankering for a tuna nicoise and choc bar that needs to be satiated. I’ve also started loving some of their sandwiches(pastrami sandwiches and the cheese and ham baguettes) and I do rather like their new small sandwich options. To be honest I haven’t had a bad option here, although am wary of the price as a few items can really add up. I tend to favour to ‘take away’ as it’s a cheaper option, however sometimes the weather disagrees with me. It is however not that expensive — but it’s also not the budget option — although then where is these days? Quality of ingredients is good, what you get is fresh and the quality of the bread is good. As I mention I particularly like the tuna nicoise — you have an optional dressing, and it comes with crisp leaves, capers, salad and egg. Although I’d recommend getting some black pepper to kick it off! Whilst I tend to try and avoid chain’s, you know what you’re going to get here, a wholesome quick meal fix. Great if you’re on the go and don’t want to have to mount a search party against hunger.

Ran into my first Pret at Heathrow Terminal 5. The place had a queue nearly all of our first hours in the U.K. A week later we returned to London and this one was two blocks from our hotel. Pret a Manger translates, «Ready to Eat.» It does that. We had great, friendly service, assembled a breakfast of oatmeal, banana, coffee and orange juice, just like home. We added a sausage sandwich and had way too much for breakfast. The cost was what we spend for most restaurant breakfasts we eat in Phoenix. Considering this was metro London, I felt we got an excellent deal. Fresh, healthy food, at a good price. After indulging in several days of the traditional foods of the UK, frequently paying crazy prices in what usually ended up being a mass-market chain, I’d make Pret my place to eat on future journeys to London. I see Pret is now in the U.S. When I see one I will stop and eat.

It may be silly to go here as a tourist, but I like to see what the world has to offer, even for fast food. Now I wish they would open location in the States! Mostly the food selection beats out any of the big brands in terms of quality, variety, and price. Wonderful croissants and delicious sandwiches. I was also impressed with their espresso, much closer to what you get in France. This location also boasts plenty of seating.

PRET A MANGERRENOVATED. This headline should be topping all the morning papers. It’s so nice now!!! It was under renovation for quite some time but it is so shiny and warm now. Hey it’s a pret so what can you really say, but now that this is renovated, I can say this is the nicest Pret I have ever been to! Spacious and great seating and wifi and everything is so well kept. There is even a downstairs!!! Well, just for bathrooms. But the fact that it exists is pleasant. This Pret A Manger sits right outside the Great Portland Street station. COMMUTINGTOWORK? Pick up some Pret! Feed your life! Feed your kids’ lives! Enjoy a tomato mozzarella croissant and eat it so fast! Order a second and eat it slower! Then buy one for Mrs. You. Or Mr. You! Your spouse. Getting side tracked thinking about that croissant, wish it wasn’t 11PM! Pret is closed now. But all I want is it.
