Quick little sandwich shop with wraps and subs. Good if you need something on the go and need to grab a small lunch. Portions are kind of small but tastes good and decently priced. The avocado and chick peas wrap is a favorite!

Cute little sandwich shop over London — most of the food is take-out(you can order hot sandwiches) I think if you eat in it’s an extra pound. It’s great for working or stopping by to get free wifi if you’re traveling. I had an avocado and chipotle chickpeas wrap and it was small but tasty! It’s all freshly made that day and wonderful service!

Have to agree with the other reviewer re the secret area. It’s a great find — particularly now that they have free wifi. It’s a Pret so you pretty much know what to expect. Personal weakness is the early morning bacon & egg croissant — who knew warmed egg mayo would be so addictive? — and I think the coffee’s about as good as you get in the mainstream. The new budget range is handy too. But the best bit of this branch is definitely the back room. Quiet, great for meetings, catching up on e mail like working from home. Only with someone to make you coffee.

Pret A Manger is a large part of my survival(and the survival of those around me) when I’m in London. I can get a mean soy latte at a price I can live with. They don’t use crap, thin sweet soymilk and the espresso is usually smooth and strong. I haven’t eaten here as the prices seemed a little much for pre-packed food.

I heard that Pret A Manger is owned by McDonald’s before I had even visited the place, but these lead to the fact that I tried avoiding the place, for a long time. I am now(almost) over this little detail, but they have won me over simply with their best sandwiches in the High Street. Also I am drawn into the fact that they sell their hand made sandwiches in single packets as this usually enough for me and I hate it if I have through food away/eat too much. Well what ever, but always fresh and tasty. But I never make the mistake of taking coffee here. It is a fast food chain after all!

I wasn’t expecting my last review of the year to be about Pret. But this one always pleasantly surprises me. What is it that they give the guys who work here? Really, I’ve never seen such perma happy staff. They’re lovely. I like getting my latte from them in the morning. They make me smile — that’s pretty impressive considering I’m pretty grouchy before morning caffiene. The selection is pretty average and well, Pret like. Sandwiches, salads and soup. But if you sneak behind the counter(you’re allowed, I promise) you’ll find yourself a very cute hidden away seating area. Because it looks like the bit where the kitchen should be, you can always find a seat. That, coupled with pretty decent food and a latte, and the fact I can curl up with a book if I’ve got a spare half an hour, make this a pretty sneaky place to know. Yeah, there are better cafes, but this is a pretty good spot to keep in mind, however strange it might seem.

Fresh and non-industrial is the food that Pret a Manger offers to the customer. I know for a fact that the chefs begin very early in the morning making the sandwiches and salads to put up on shelf and all left overs are donated to charity. From soft drinks to salads, fruits and crisps the ultimate pret patent are the croissants available in ham with mozarella and tomato with mozarella. With coffee they are oomph. This particular franchise find themselves the busiest as the neighbourhood business inhabitants in London come to pick up their lunch. Always courteous and efficient the service is better than average. The brand has a unique minimalist yet fresh approach to take away food.

Firstly, I’m not a fan of chain coffee/sandwich stores. I just don’t really understand why people go to them. Fair enough they can be cheap, but so can other little cafes, and I know who I would rather be giving my money to. No that’s out of the way, I feel that I should give Pret a little bit of credit. If there is one good thing I can say about them, its that their sandwiches are at least of a decent quality. If your going to give money to a chain store, you may as well be getting something good for it. The coffee is rubbish, as they don’t really know what they are doing. Fair enough coffee is rubbish at a lot of places, but if you take the time to source out good coffee in London, it will be well worth your time.

Everybody knows Pret, and they’re hardly worth reviewing. Although their yogurts with oatmeal are beyond beautiful and their banana cakes are sublime. Apart from that, I don’t love the places; the sandwiches seem pretty pretentious and boring. Like, why do I want a french named lettuce with some rare part of a salmon?. no thanks, give me a BEEFROLL. But… let me just say… This one time, at this VERY Pret, I got a chicken salad sandwich with grapes in it. And it was the GREATESTSANDWICHOFALLTIMEORATLEASTINTHETOPTWENTY. But get this, I went back the next week and there were NO grape sandwiches! NONE! Want to hear the worst part?. They claimed they never had grape sandwiches. I was like«are you crazy?. The grape sandwich was the GREATESTSANDWICHOFALLTIMEORATLEASTINTHETOPTWENTY!». He said, «grapes? in a sandwich!!!». I stood there shocked, or maybe just hungry. I periodically go back to check for grape sandwiches. NONE. I feel anger and resentment to the company, although I gently put this aside whilst sneakily buying a banana cake. One other word on Pret, and this goes for ANY Pret. How do they get tea so wrong?. Water, tea bag, milk. Simple. But their tea tastes disgraceful! An embarrassment to tea. My Aunt’s one-second-tea-bag-dip tea tastes better. Outrageous!

I have recently fallen in love with Pret A Manger. Well, there sandwiches to be precise. And this branch of Pret didn’t disappoint. I have been slowly making my way through the sandwich selection, and I must say the chicken/avocado combination is my favourite, with real, fresh chicken breast and a decadent mayonnaise. I was also delighted to learn that they do ‘half sandwiches’, perfect for when you need a little snack that’s also substantial, for only £1.45, it’s a bargain. I find most Pret A Mangers to be similar in terms of cleanliness, service and range — I guess that’s what happens in a franchise! But I am going to continue to investigate the different branches and see if I can find a stand-out favourite…

I stopped in here for a drink today. I usually get food but today just got one of their own brand drinks; a mango and mandarin sparkling juice for 99p. We went at about 3.30 and there was no free tables so we just sat at someone else’s and shared. The chairs are really comfy brown leather and the staff were really chirpy and fast with my order. My friend got a savoury croissant that looked delicious but was quite greasy, the paper it came on was pretty see through by the time she had finished. It is a really reliable place for a nice coffee but it is pretty average, I’ve never been blown away by their produce.
