Very good tasty food. The taste is perfect. Plus the freshness of ingredients is incredible. They offer a very tasty north Indian style menu surti. Originally Surat is a town in Gujarat and is popular of its love of tasty food. hence the name. And I must say Ram lives up to its name. They also offer a tiffin service. Which is quite reasonably priced. I am talking of take away gujju tiffin box. But the food is very tasty and hot and freshly made.

Hi me and my wife consistently visit this place and we absolutely love this food. Not only is the food great but we have had very good service as well. We are vegetarians and the food range is really good. Most of the times we stick to the Thali(set meals) and its fantastic for the price. Even the other dishes on the menu are tasty and also felt that its less oily/greasy than the other north Indian restaurants in town. I would highly recommend this place for food quality and service

Visited last weekend but didn’t stay! As I have a Taste card, you have to phone in advance to book a table but, every time we’ve phoned, the person taking the call can’t understand what we’re saying, let alone us understand their accent! For an evening booking, you have to phone before 6pm otherwise they won’t accept your booking which I think is totally stupid whenever we’ve been there, it’s virtually empty. So we phoned to tell them we had a Taste card and we’d like a table for two, gave our name, which they got wrong and had to spell out. When we arrived, there was one other couple there, so far so good. We were met, told our name he got it wrong in spite of us just telling him the surname and that we had a booking. We sat down and got the menu. Unfortunately, a large family group with a toddler came in and sat down a few tables away. Now the restaurant has marble floors and sound echoes something awful in there. The toddler managed to hit his head on the table(I think) and begun a keening wail that went on, and on, and on. The Mother just shushed her child, who continued to wail! The family weren’t fussed, the waiting staff weren’t fussed but WE were and, instead of ordering, ended up walking out. OK I know people like to take their children with them but there should be some respect for other diners. If my child had cried like that I would’ve left the table and gone to the toilet, or outside, to calm them down. I doubt we’ll ever go back there.

Located on Kenton Road, this is a vegetarian restaurant which serves mainly food from the Gujarat region. Fairly small place not the biggest around the Harrow area. With that aside the food is great. Traditional Surti dishes which are nice and spicy and full of spices. These are dishes from the western part of India in Gujarat. Staff are friendly and doesn’t take too long for food to arrive. Priced reasonably as well, this place makes a change from the mass Southern Indian food places around. You’re looking around £25 average for a meal for 2 people which is worth it. Waiters are there to help and help you choose the tastiest food.
