Ruby Foo’s is a fancy Chinese food delivery service. It’s associated with Mao Tai, which is an equally fancy Chinese restaurant and cocktail bar in Parson’s Green. It is run by an American man and as such it is a very accesible and Americanised Oriental menu. It is also extraordinarily expensive. A whole duck will set you back 50 squids. The delivery service is pretty good but on weekends the kitchen can get so busy there is a delivery time of up to 1.5 hours, which I wouldn’t wait for, personally. It comes in fancy Ruby Foo’s boxes and the food is very very good, but it is so incredibly expensive that you could get a lot more food from somewhere else for the same price.
