This is a mid-sized Sainsburys with most grocey or household items that you could want but mostly gearing, as Bruce K. says, to the needs of nearby office workers. It majors particularly in the lunch trade, with a counter serving ready-cooked food and salad. Part of its lunchtime offerings are its relatively limited £3 sandwich deal, comprising a sandwich, drink and crisps or fruit. The limited choice available, particularly of the drink and snack, means it’s rarely a option I go for. Still, a useful place to find food ready to eat and everyday grocery items if one doesn’t want to trek to the much larger Sainsbury’s on Wilton Road.

Place rating: 3 Charlotte, NC
A rather compressed Sainsbury’s with a reasonable selection of grocery items. Mostly designed for the nearby office workers, the place gets quite busy at lunchtime with a crowd around the sandwiches and deli counter. Other grocery and produce sections plus dry goods and beer/liquor areas are not quite as busy. Lots of tills(«registers» In American) are well stocked at the busy times and the queues(«lines») move quickly.
