I really want to write a good review about this place but unfortunately this won’t be one.
I was really happy to see a place like sensensuals in Lewisham as it’s so close to home, reasonable prices and just what I wanted!
I had previously visited to get a wax treatment and was really happy with the service I received that I booked in for a massage a couple of weeks later. however the service was nowhere near as good.
I booked in for an hour massage and it started 10 minutes late which I didn’t mind as I wasn’t in a rush, however I could feel that the masseur was in a rush and when I checked the time when I had finished changing afterwards I had only received 45 minutes! I think her next client was outside and she may have been keen to get started on time but this wasn’t good enough as my treatment shouldn’t be cut short. She spent hardly anytime on my back and if she had asked beforehand she would have known that this was my problem area (as it is for many people).
I’m also studying massage at the moment and no checks were done beforehand to check for any contraindications. Although I knew I didn’t have any I thought it was very unprofessional that they didn’t check.
I wouldn’t return here for a massage and will be returning to other treatment rooms I used before. Although it will be further from home, I’ll know that I receive a better service. I would probably only go back for waxing but that would be as a last resort.

I took a chance on this salon and happened to visit a beautician who normally works at the Bromley salon was working there. She was great and talked me through everything she was doing. She analysed my skin and gave me very useful advice. I visited another two times and was very happy with the service. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the last time I visited I received terrible service. The beautician, whose name I didn’t find out because she barely spoke to me throughout the whole 40 minutes, was quite rude. The only time she spoke to me was to guide me to the room, ask me to lie down and to take my payment. She asked no questions about my skin and made no attempts to me feel relaxed. As I said I do not know her name but she is an older, eastern european woman.
I will go back to the salon but will just make sure I do not get treated by her.
Take my advice go to the salon but avoid this terrible beautician.

THE BEST SALON IN THE AREA! I found this salon online and visited it for a facial, waxing and manicure as I wanted to look good for my Christmas party. I am very happy with the results. The staffs are very friendly and professional. Also, I found the prices very reasonable compared to the other salons in the area. I will definitely go back there again to try other treatments. I will also recommend this place to my friends and family.
