Ok, so when I update a review is usually for a better second opinion, but in this case, I have to lower my rating a bit mainly because of the service. The place is still pretty and luminous, overall very nice for a coffee with friends, but what made me change my review is the service. I remember in my first review I said that you don’t need to rush to make a good coffee, but having to wait over 10 minutes to be served, it is a bit too much, especially when the place is empty. The staff seems to be logy all the time! Also, have they risen their prices since the last time I was there? Because it seemed to be more expensive now… I liked the place because it is outside, but I think I might just move back to Grind inside Westfield!

Nice place to have a cup of coffee around Stratford. Decoration is nice and plain. Food is ok, not great. I had a couple of italian pastries the first time I visited, and honestly, I tried better in other places. I would say it is better than most places in the area, but I was really dissapointed with the service. I have been there twice and I gave up. Not sure I will come back any time soon. The first time I went there the place was almost empty but none was there, everyone was in the kitchen(I suppose). It took ages for us to get notice. We ordered some coffee and pastries, and again it took ages. Just two Lattes, nothing fancy. I though: new place, new people. Fine, they just need a little bit of time to get on track. The second time the place was, again, empty, and, still the same situation. No sight of staff around. We were totally invisble to them. We gave up and left. As I said. Place kind of OK. Expensive. Horrible service. It’s a NO for me.

Delicious ham & cheese sandwich. Excellent price. Clerk was extremely nice to me. I want to try the pastries. They looked delicious.

I’m going to have to take this down a notch as the last few times I’ve been, it took ages to get served, and it wasn’t even that busy. Food is still tasty and fresh. But if I’m already seated and want another latte, 10 minutes is far too long to wait, especially if the place isn’t crowded. I am not a yummy mummy with the luxury of an afternoon to hang about with stroller, child, beverage and expensive cakes. I got stuff to do. Other eateries are edging into the area, and I hope they up their game soon.

This bakery is worth travelling all the way to Stratford for! I’ve only been for a private party but all the food was delicious ranging from fresh focaccia, beautiful cakes and biscuits, tarts and more. Alberto, the owner, is an agronomist and consulted for companies all around the world. Since meeting his partner, he has settled in London and pursued his inherent Italian passion for baking. This passion led him to create this bakery and shop. He’s thought about every single detail and where all his produce comes from. In baking, the flour is key and most of what Alberto uses is from Shipton Mill. I didn’t have any coffees etc but am guessing that the same passion for provenance is extrapolated to everything that Signorelli produces. Worth a visit and I will be back!

I had a great lentil soup with two amazing pieces of freshly baked bread! I was charged £5 and found it fair. The place smells pretty good, there was a great music selection and very friendly staff. Very cozy!
