St. John-at-Hackney Church Gardens

The Gardens that link Hackney Central with Lower Clapton Rd., are some of the most beautiful in the area. There is a really eerie vibe on a winter’s night, and a lovely peaceful vibe in summer. I really love the different sections of the gardens. There is a sectioned of rectangular field, that has the most incredibly green grass. There is a playground that is enclosed like a secret garden in big brick walls. There are pathways with gravestones stacked up against each other against the walls.
Basically, I am really happy that I get to walk through this place most days. It is the most luscious of green gardens that I have seen in the area.
