Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. They did not even have ice tea or Splenda sweetener. They only had nasty sweet and low. I truly hope this is not an accurate Starbucks UK representation. If so, time to bail.

Rating Starbucks is not like rating other independent coffee shops because you are rating it in terms of how it compares to other Starbucks, not generally.
In terms of Starbucks this one is great. People who work there are very nice and coffee comes out as expected.
To other reviewers who awarded 3 stars or less go to the Starbucks in South Kensington — that’s a real crap location.

I enjoyed the convenience and the early open time. But I could not determine if my drinks were overly sweet because how they prepared it or because I have not had Starbucks in a while… I will say a combination of both. Still, the service was friendly and efficient if you are in a hurry.

Dear Starbucks Gloucester Road,
Thank you for being open early in the morning, saving me from the tyranny of exorbitantly expensive continental breakfasts offered by hotels. For about £5−6, I got exactly what I needed: fresh orange juice, a muffin and a pastry.

PS — I was staying around the corner at a hotel and just couldn’t rationalize the cost of another pricey hotel breakfast, so I jaunted across the street for some Starbucks. This location is convenient to the area hotels as well as the Gloucester Street tube station. The staff was friendly and completed customer orders quickly. A great spot to stop by if you are in a rush.
