Hi there, I’m Marisa, a freelance English tutor for Key stages 1 – 4. I have extensive experience working with children in schools as well as tutoring. I am based in South East London, but have clients in both South East and South West London.

I always conduct an initial assessment with the student to get an idea of any areas which may need strengthening, from here I then design a programme best suited to the child’s specific learning needs. I use a firm, yet fun approach to get the very best out of my students.

History

Established in 2014.

Superstar Learners was created when it became apparent that in this day and age, there are school leavers still unable to read and write on a basic level. Possessing good English literacy and interpersonal skills is still a huge advantage in communicating effectively when looking for employment, or running a business. The sooner these skills are acquired, the easier the individual will maintain and utilize them;which is why Superstar Learners works across the Key Stages — from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4.
