This shopping centre has the potential to be something great. It has a fairly good dimension and is nicely located near central London and in the thriving Rotherhithe area. Nonetheless, with the notable exception of tesco and a few other good stores, this is really an underwhelming and generic shopping center. Most of the shops here are discount brands that offer cheap goods. Also, the food court is laughable, with only a burger king and some other fast food brand no one has ever heard about.
Allegedly, there are plans to renovate the area and bring in new retailers. I look forward to seeing these changes.

Not a glamorous shopping centre, but was suitable for what I needed! A poundland (it has a 99p store too) and Holland and Barrett. So one happy shopper here!

10 mins on the train from Shoreditch I usually shop here once a week apart from the massive Tesco the rest of the offerings are distinctly average. Avoid the food court. Fairly standard range of high street shops BHS, WHSmiths, Boots, Superdrug, Curry’s etc all rather dull. There is a Decathlon sports kit warehouse next door spread over two buildings far more fun shopping there.

It would be nice to have a mall in central London where you can go shopping for all in one place similar to Bluewater, without having to spend a day travelling to get there. But that’s that… we have nothing.
I come here do to my grocery shopping at the 24⁄7 Tesco. And sometimes i’ll have a wonder around the other shops. There isn’t too much of a reason for me to come here outside of Tescos. Just a few high street shops, boots, superdrug and Tescos. But… just down the road (semi walking distance) is a Decathon!
I wouldn’t travel here without a purpose (tescos). But. since there really isn’t too much in the area, it’s worth a stop and wonder around.

But if you’re looking for an enormous vat of pure cow ghee at 3am, you can get it at the 24-​hour Tesco Extra. That’s something, I suppose.

My friend hyped up this place for me. I think it’s because he lives in Elephant and Castle, so something like the Surrey Quays Shopping Center seems like a nice mall.
However, this place is tiny. In fact, probably 80% of the people coming here are just shopping at the Tescos Extra.
The other shops are the standard chain stores that can be found anywhere. The food court consists of 2 fast food joints, and the non-​Burger King one didn’t seem to be interested in my business.
Lastly, there is a secret passage to the basement area, only accessible by one of the side elevators. The basement has a huge theme park-​type area, which various rides and video games. There were only a couple people there, besides the employees, but I was able to have a pretty good time playing in laser tag station. Just kidding. No such area exists. This mall is just boring.
It’s functional, not entertaining.

I lived near surrey quays for about 11 years and i always used to go to their shopping centre (still do) it is just amazing. They have tesco, carphone warehouse, phones 4 u, JD sports, GAME, WH Smith, sports direct, Burger king, HSBC, SANTANDER, HALIFAX, Currys, T-​Mobile, O2 etc…
It is closed later on thursdays.

Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is a very average shopping centre — it’s OK, but it’s not great. You get the usual high street stores — Dorothy Perkins, River Island, New Look, Boots, Barrett’s, Superdrugs, WH Smith, etc. The big draw is the Tesco Extra, which opens 24 hours and has a good range, including «ethnic» foods (I’ve found Vitasoy here!). It also has a kids play area and a small food court (amazingly, no McDonald’s, but there is a Burger King!).
Whilst this shopping centre has all the basics, it seriously lacks any kind of atmosphere. We normally go in to buy groceries and get out again — there’s no hanging around on our part. In short, it meets all the basics but if you’re looking for a shopping experience, you might want to try another shopping centre.

This a nice little shopping centre which is great for all those everyday necessities! It has a good bunch of high street clothes/​shoes brands, two jewellers, two opticians, a game shop, a technology shop, superdrug, boots pharmacy and a WH Smith. The upstairs food hall is average and next to it is a small play area for the kids — great occupation while you shop.
The shopping centre is open daily from 9 till 6pm and also has a 24hrs Tesco extra for those peckish late nights!
If you do choose to shop here do it really early or really late because it gets pretty crowded at the peak times, especially on a Saturday! This is a good centre in a great location but could do with a few more shops and a bigger car park — the car park is vast but can be quite difficult to find a parking space still within the vicinity when it is busy.
In general its no Westfield but great for a local area and is convenient!

Surrey Quays Shopping Centre isn’t exactly the shopping mecca of London (or even South London) but I would probably describe it as good to supply your basic shopping requirements.
There are always hundreds of children running around and it isn’t the most visually appealing place to enjoy an afternoon of shopping — more of a get what you need and leave type place. It does have a few good high street stores such as River Island, New Look and Dorothy Perkins but each of these are small branches and I rarely find myself spending too much money.
In terms of food shopping, there is a huge Tesco’s which is probably the best I have ever visited and a couple of cafes.
A little run down but it definitely suffices if you only need a few bits and pieces. Not somewhere to plan a real shopping outing however!

absolutely useless. I wanted to get a phone there and after about 5 minutes of waiting I was given a pakistani who did not speak a word of English. he took my details for payment but it turned out hed typed in the information I told him to wrong so I could buy anything. Great business! go to T-​Mobile instead they are much more professional anything but these morons. I went back a day after but because theyd screwed up the payment details it meant i couldnt get anything.
Nothing ”awesome” about this place.

For its size, this is a good shopping centre. It has, unfortunately, lost a few good shops in the last couple of years and they all seem to have been replaced with mobile phone shops.
There’s a fairly large tesco, which is great. Shoe shops, card shops, clothes shops, opticians, banks has a bit of everything. Oh, and a large BHS. It has eateries upstairs, Burger King (with ball pit at a charge), a spud-​u-​like and sandwich shop. BHS also has a restaurant.
The best thing is how accessible it is — hundreds of parking spaces, buses, and 2 underground stations nearby.

This is an ok suburban shopping centre — lots and lots of car parkign spaces and a tesco petrol station which is useful for cheaper fuel. There are several buses which pass by and both Surrey Quays and Canada Water tube stations are within very close walking distance. The shop choice is very average — nothing high end here but your basics are all there. The Tesco is really big and offers a great choice of stuff — its definitely one of the larger ones in a shopping centre. Average food court too.

A deceptive Shopping Centre, bigger than it actually looks, but just not enough shops for me to feel satisfied! It has a Boots, Barrats, Tesco, BHS, Carphone Warehouse, O2, Dorothy Perkins, Tchibo, WHSmith and others, as well as a foodcourt upstairs where you can get Burger King, or Spud u Like, and a baguette counter which serves one of the best egg mayo baguettes I have ever tasted!
Great for a quick nip round the shops, but will not satisfy the soul of the dedicated shopper!

This shopping centre is in a great location. It has all the shops you need for a shopping trip including Tesco. The closest tube station is Canada Water which is on the Jubillee line. Its very easy to get too and very convinient as well. Its got a big car park if you drive and lots of buses go there too. The is a BHS there and WHSmith, CarphoneWarehouse and Thorntons too. They have a food court upstairs where you can have lunch too. This shopping centre is by a lake. I think its man-​made. When its s lovely day you can sit by the lake and have lunch there. Its nice
