Terrace Bar and Food(what used to be called the Terrace Café) is another of the many dining opportunities at the NT. It’s a bit more casual than Mezzanine Restaurant, and offers a load of tapas-type dishes as well as sharing platters. The desserts are good too. In summer months, they make full use of the outside seating options, and there is late opening on Friday and Saturday nights — it’s a great place to know for a late drink somewhere which is never too busy, but is usually buzzy and often has visiting DJs etc. There are some tasty cocktails and a decent wine list. And, most importantly for me if you’ve read any of my other reviews, they have good beers by the wonderful Meantime: the Pale Ale by the bottle, and the London Lager on tap.
