The Beauty Room

OK facial. Except it REALLY hurt in one part, to the extent I thought my nose was bleeding.
The reason for the one star is that they give you a really, REALLY hard sell at the end. She asked me to meet her upstairs after the facial, and when I came upstairs, she had a row of products all lined up, and started immediately on why and how I «needed» them all. At £45 each, I don’t have that kind of money. I did however buy one, just because she made me feel so bullied.
She also said «so can I book your next 6 courses in before you go?» Um, no.
Oh and I forgot to say: the lady who carries out the facials SMOKES. I realised this because I am also a client of the nail bar next door, and was in there for 2 hrs recently — in that time, I saw the beautician across the road, having popped out for cigarette breaks, at least 4 times. So she smokes and then uses her fingers on clients’ faces. Puke. Absolutely rank. I would never have gone had I known this.

I went there with a Groupon voucher to get spray tan. As I was flying out of the country on the next day early in the morning and they suggested that I would do the express tan, which you are supposed to wash off just 3 hours later (the standard one is 8 hours later) so I paid 5 GBP extra for the express tan. With the spray tan you usually get really dark and after the recomended hours you wash the excess off and you get a natural tan. So before going to bed and 3 hours after the spray, I had a shower exactly as they said and all the tan dissapeared totally! I ended up as pale as I was before the spray. I wrote them 2 emails to complain and so far I had no luck in getting my money back, not even a reply. I would not recomend this salon and I would not recomend the express tan in this salon, it’s a waste of time!

Been there with kgbdeals voucher. Very friendly, very clean, loved the service. And even if I don’t live nearby, I believe I’ll be back many times after the first one. Thank you, girls!

I have been a customer with the Beauty Room for the last 4yrs or so and have never been so impressed with a beautician in London. Waxing is awesome! (Painless & perfect). Plus the rest of the treatments are not to be dismissed
You are always greeted with a friendly face on arrival and the girls take absolute fantastic care of you through all treatments, you are top priority!

I have been going to the Beauty room in Jerdan place for 5 years and my experience has always been a pleasure. When you arrive you are greeted by the staff and made comfortable while they prepare the area for your treatments, I have had brazillian done in many places and this is by far the quickest and most painless experience i have had. The girls reassure you and ask if it is ok the whole way through the treatment. Great girls, great place and great wax. I have also had other treatments that are of the same standard everytime i go in I would recommend this salon for all beauty treatments.
