This is a truly beautiful book store. Maybe not beautiful in the glamorous sense, but definitely in a romantic second-hand book shop kind of way. I stumbled upon this gem by accident, and decided to take a look inside. I noticed that no one was in the store so I just browsed the shelves. A few minutes later, a shopkeeper named Rose emerged from the back room. The silent and cluttered room felt a little awkward, so we had a chat for a few minutes. Rose is a very lovely lady who made the experience even more pleasant. Although the shop is small, the books are stacked right up to the ceiling, and the collection is actually quite impressive. There are books from a large selection of genres and topics. If you like looking for second hand books then this place is a goldmine. Unlike some second-hand book stores, the general quality of the books is quite good. You don’t have to rummage around for hours to find something worth buying. Why not skip the new book stores, and visit Rose down at The Book Shop. You will probably find something you like for less than half the price.
