We are a modern butchers shop, with a delicatessen, shop and restaurant. Our lamb and beef comes from our own farm in Sussex. Highfields Farm, in the Kent and Sussex Weald, less than 60 miles from central London, raises stock the traditional way. It is dedicated to producing the best quality beef and lamb in an award-winning natural environment. All our winter animals are born inside, under shelter; a few late arrivals outside in the summer. With spring weather is mild enough they go out onto natural grass, where they stay until winter returns.
They are not fed GM products, or any additives or steroids. The sheep are English breeds, primarily Suffolk mules with British Texels which produce good growth in lambs & flavoursome meat. Lambs stay with their mothers, until they can feed themselves. Our restaurant has a range of delicious offers, steak of course, but also great fish dishes and salads. Our dinosaur ribs are legendary, and very addictive. Tables available outside by the river.
