Having a rough time in London? Been chucked out of your home, homeless or just poor? Then go to the Connections at St.Martins. A day centre which offers cheap food (£1.30 for a proper dinner or fry up) showers (with towels and soap), internet access, occasional cloths, help and advice and even a TV room right in the heart of town. Situated just behind Trafalgar square with a red door its an easy place to find.
Open every day of the week in the morning and even later on Tuesday and Thursdays its an invaluable resource in surviving in London. You have to register with then on your first visit but then your free to come and go as you like.
