All those fancy street food stalls popping up at markets all over town should take a leaf out of the Curry Hut’s book — this is how it should be done! This is a family business and it shows. Considering that this is literally a small hut on a busy market, the level of service is exceptional, no matter how small your order. I stopped for just a samosa on my last visit but hope to return again soon for one of their lunch deals. You get to choose from a large selection of delicious dishes, served with rice, a samosa and a cuppa. All for about a fiver(sorry didn’t take a note of the exact prices, but a single samosa is excellent value at 80 pence). In other words, five star dining on a market — and there’s even some seats to relax your lunch(the stall closes at 5.30pm). I live at the other end of London and only get to visit once or twice a year. The area has been changing dramatically over the years, but the Curry Hut is as excellent as ever.
