A very local looking pub. Quite run down feel but sometimes these old man pubs local to community are great rather than new fancy commercial places so I really like it. Friendly locals too who all seem to know each other.

Lovely old fashioned pub with Ales from the barrel behind the bar (lots and lots of ales when they have a festival). There are a couple of TVs and a big screen, by a pool table at the back of the pub.
Fairly recently under new management who are definitely taking things in the right direction. The locals are rowdy but friendly.
Drawbacks? Well they did have Karaōke on a Saturday night however, which while like torture for me, is something I believe many people enjoy. Also, I don’t think they do food, at least I didn’t see any mention of it anywhere.
